This work is based on fieldwork conducted in Madagascar and a workshop process to refine the tools developed. The toolkit is designed to help the Government of Madagascar quickly develop communication strategies for use during emergencies. The tool has been integrated into routine emergency practice and as such constitutes a significant outcome in terms of translating research into impact. This publication is also available in the Malagasy language.-
