Abstract: A novel and facile microfluidic approach is presented to transform silica precursor droplets into uniform hierarchical microparticles with raspberry-like surface morphology. This novel microfluidic method provides a new strategy to make microparticles with unique surface morphology, and could open new opportunities for potential applications in catalysis, energy, biomedical fields.
