Abstract: | In the early days of plant genomics most research efforts were directed towards model systems such as Arabidopsis, or crops receiving private sector support such as maize and soybean. Recently, collaborations between public research groups have resulted in two of the world's most important cereal crops, wheat and barley, becoming major targets for genomics research in both Australia and overseas. |
