Abstract: | The methods for studying the direct economic contributions of volunteering are relatively developed . By contrast, this exploratory report is the first attempt to measure the economic value contributed by volunteering in a few of the many possible areas where indirect impacts are made. More specifically the report focuses on the 'social capital' generated by a wide range of voluntary activities and it's positive impact on the state economy. |
