| Abstract: | The title compound, C20H18, is centrosymmetric and adopts a twisted conformation. This result contrasts related unsubstituted systems, where rotational disorder is inevitably found. The different behaviour is rationalized in terms of the absence of π-π interactions in the lattice of the title compound. |
