Description: | Extent: 1 performance A DVD recording of the performance was produced by Carclew. This event fostered the development of innovative and effective support structures for the production (composition and performance) of new Indigenous music by young CASM students. It also facilitated the public presentation and staging of new Indigenous music as well as innovation and development within existing and appropriate community contexts. This CASM performance at Blak Nite 07 was sponsored by - Come Out: Australian Festival for Young People Inc., Carclew Youth Arts, Tandanya National Aboriginal Cultural Institute, South Australian Youth Arts Board, Arts SA/Country Arts SA, Australia Council, Bensen Family Foundation, Adelaide City Council, Home Start Finance and Network Ten. Affiliated performers - Tara Althouse, Lisa Kickett, Madeline Love, Derek Lynch, Linsi Satinie, Corey Theatre and Jacinta Wyld. |
