Description: | This is a built work, occupied by the Shrine of Remembrance Trust and employees. The Visitor Centre, Shrine of Remembrance, project explored the difficult problem of adding contemporary facilities to an historic monument, the 1934 neoclassical Shrine building. The Shrine redevelopment is the first substantial addition to a national monument that integrates landscape and architectural design processes. The project was completed in August 2003. |
