Abstract: | We have developed a coherent laser radar system operating at 1.5 microns using an Er:Yb:glass laser. This paper describes new high signal to noise single shot measurements of the atmospheric boundary layer and includes comparisons with measurements obtained from a VHF boundary layer radar. |
