Abstract: The article discusses a study which aimed to evaluate both the time involved and the time benefit of warming dantrolene administration for treating malignant hyperthermia, to determine whether there was an overall time-saving. The ampoules of sterile water used for the study were kept immersed in a water bath held at 45°C for at least 10 minutes. Findings showed that warming is of no benefit in speeding dantrolene preparation.
