Abstract: Waterholes etc. Ooldea district – names of waterholes and rock holes in some unexplored areas supposed to be gold-bearing. Also names of groups, names of people in groups, their languages and totems. Stylised group-water hole-language maps, pp.7, 11, 34. D.B. states that her informants will never return to their waters and that because of her careful collection of the whereabouts of food and water sources, the sites may become large stations or townships when later settled by Europeans.
